Changing plans opens an overlay showing every available plan, your billing period, and the exact prorated amount before you confirm anything.
Choose a plan and billing period
Plan cards show a Current badge on your active plan and a trial badge (for example, "14-DAY FREE") where one applies. The top-tier Scale plan shows Contact sales instead of a purchase button. Choose Monthly or Yearly billing — Yearly shows its savings compared to paying monthly.
Apply a promo code
Click Have a promo code?, enter it, and click Apply. A valid code shows as applied with a Remove option next to it.
Review the order summary
Before confirming, the order summary shows a proration notice, each line item, Subtotal, Tax, and Total due today — plus a recurring line for what you'll be charged going forward (Recurring / month or Recurring / year). Your subscription starts immediately: you pay only the prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period, then it renews automatically. Payment is processed by Stripe using the card on file; there's no separate card-entry step here.
What to do about it
Check the Total due today line against the recurring line before confirming — they're rarely the same number on an upgrade partway through a billing period. See View Billing History and Invoices afterward to confirm the charge went through as expected.
