Signing in with GitHub or Jira for the first time can create your Everview organization for you — no manual setup screen required.
What it is
When you sign in through a connected provider and you don't already belong to an Everview organization, Everview builds one automatically: an organization, default workstreams, and a workspace, all provisioned in the background right after you authenticate.
How to read it
While this runs, a full-screen overlay shows four stages in order:
- Connecting your account
- Creating your organization
- Setting up workstreams
- Preparing your workspace
This normally finishes in a few seconds. If Everview can't confirm your new organization in time, it falls back to a demo/Missions organization and shows a warning message — your provider connection is intact, and you can retry from the Connected Apps screen.
What to do about it
You don't need to do anything while this runs — just wait for the overlay to clear. If you land in the Missions organization instead of the one you expected, use Switch Between Organizations and Workspaces to find your new organization once it finishes provisioning, or check Connect a GitHub or Jira Account to confirm your provider connection succeeded.
